Franklin Fowler appointed as Vice President
The Perth Basketball Association is pleased to announce that Franklin Fowler has been appointed as Vice-President.
He takes over from Michael Clarke who recently resigned.
Franklin brings to the position a combination of business and marketing acumen that has until now been of great benefit to the club and will, in his new position, be of even greater benefit.
This is exampled by the fact that as Sponsorship Director he has introduced many of the new sponsors to the Redbacks in the last couple of years.
He is also the owner and managing director of Best Value Patio and Sheds, which is a major club-sponsor.
Franklin has been on the Board for just over two-years and has gained a strong understanding of the business operations of the club.
There is also a strong family connection with Franklin’s son, Giordano, playing in the under 16s and also being a member of the State under 16s squad.
His wife, Morena, is a member of the Redbacks’ WABL Sub-committee along with being the team manager of the under 16s men.
The club wishes Franklin all the best in his upcoming role.
