Redbacks' players at Australian Schools Championships
Four Benchmark Designer Homes Redbacks’ WABL players are currently playing in the Australian Schools Championships in Bendigo.
Jessica “JJ” Jakens is playing in the Senior Womens' Championship Category team and Caris Dinardo, Carlie Richardson and Maddi Ireland in the Senior Womens' Division Three team for Willetton Senior High School.
JJ has made her mark in the leading statistical categories sitting in third place in the scoring with an average of 17.5 per game, third in the rebounds with an average of 9.8 per game and fifth in the free-throws with a 55.5% average, out of a total of 60 players.
Maddi Ireland is in 10th place in the scoring statistical category with an average of eight points per game while Carlie Richardson is in 16th place with an average of five points and Caris Dinardo in 22nd place with an average of 3.3 points, out of a total of 48 players.
The Willetton Senior High School Championship Category team has to date won one game and lost four and is in fifth place in the six team competition.
The Willetton Senior High School Division Two team is currently in third place in the five-team competition with two wins and two losses.
