Southside Mitsubishi Redbacks face double header The State Basketball League action continues this Friday night with Southside Mitsubishi Redbacks’ men’s and women’s teams playing the tough Perry Lakes combinations. The women’s game starts at 6.30PM and the men’s game at 8.30PM at the Belmont Oasis Leisure Centre, Alexander Street (near Abernethy Road) Belmont. Fans should come down to see if the Redbacks can continue their winning form of last week when both teams beat the Cockburn Cougars. Key match ups in the women’s game will include the Redbacks’ Narelle Henry against the Hawks Tanya Kelly, Brooke Hiddlestone / Tegan Walker and Yasmin Seden / Lyndal Gardner. Match-ups in the men’s game includes Jarrad Prior / Peter Crawford, Joel Wagner / Sam Keene and Jon Meriweather / Bobby Kempf. All Redbacks’ supporters are encouraged to wear club gear down and scream for your team – let’s get loud!!!!
This is followed up by an away game on Saturday night against Mandurah Magic at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre, 303 Pinjarra Rd Mandurah. The women’s game starts at 6PM and the men’s game at 8PM.
