Redbacks SBL Scrimmages
The Southside Mitsubishi Redbacks Men’s State Basketball League team is conducting a series of intra-club scrimmages over the next three Fridays (22 January, 29 January and 5 February). All games are at our home venue of Belmont Oasis and start at 6PM.
This is an ideal opportunity for club members to get down and see Wildcats’ players Jarrad Prior and Joel Wagner along with the new import player Jon Meriweather, who is very much living up to his reputation with a very high standard of play.
Just because they are called ‘scrimmages’ does not mean that they are not taken seriously. The last scrimmage held became extremely physical at times and all players were playing at full intensity.
The great news is that spectators can attend free of cost. We look forward to seeing as many as possible there.
