Two Perth Redback junior WABL players have received scholarships into the 2007-2008 National Intensive Training Centre Program (NITCP). Both Robert Cassir and Jarrad Jackson received their scholarships after previous experiences with the same program. The program provides Australia's promising young basketballers and basketball coaches with a proven pathway to success in their chosen sport.

Robert Cassir is apart of the Redbacks Under 18 Division 1 team as well as a recent addition to our SBL program. Robert has also been a member of State teams at Under 16 and Under 18 level as well as many other club accolades.

Jarrad Jackson is also apart of the Redbacks Under 18 Division 1 team and, like Robert, joined our SBL team in 2007. Jarrad was in the 2006 Under 16 State team and also has numerous club accolades.

Both of these two young Men show enormous potential in our sport and are exciting prospects not only for our club but for the game itself. We look forward to seeing plenty more out of these two fine athletes!
