WABL Grand Final Day
WABL Grand Final Day
Yesterday was WABL Grand Final Day at Perry Lakes Stadium. The Perth Redbacks had 3 teams competing in Grand Final games. We were also well represented and acknowledged in other team and individual awards.
Grand Final Results
Under 16 Division 2 Boys were defeated by the narrowest possible margin by Lakeside. The final score - Redbacks 43 - Lightning 44.
Under 18 Division 1 Boys were defeated by Lakeside by only 2 points. The final score - Redbacks 55 - Lightning 57
Mens Division 1 "comfortably" defeated Lakeside by 12 points to be Champions for 2005. The final score - Redbacks 59 - Lightning 47. Congratulations!
Conference Champions
The following Redbacks teams were North Conference Champions at the end of the regular season:
Under 14 Boys
Under 16 Division 2 Boys
Under 23 Men
Congratulations to these teams for a terrific performance throughout the season.
WABL MVP Awards
