Dear Coach's/ Coaching Parents,

It is a requirement of Basketball Victoria that all parents coaching Junior teams will now by law need a ‘Working with Children’s Check’

Forms are available over the Internet. This check will not cost you anything, apart from the passport photo required.

When filling out the form, you need to tick the ‘Volunteer’ box on Page 1. While on Page 3, the details should be filled out as follows:

Unfortunately, this is a requirement that is a continual provision, and while obtaining a ‘WWCC’ can take a couple of weeks to be processed, it would be appreciated if this could be rectified before the next season starts.

This is a legal requirement of all Junior Associations/ Organisations and this ‘WWCC’ can be used across a wide spectrum of Volunteer capacities.
