Applications for Wolves coaching staff now open

The Wanneroo Basketball Association is seeking applications for a range of coaching positions for season 2010 in both the State Basketball League and the Western Australian Basketball League.

WBA has established a reputation as a premier developer of junior basketball talent, and the association provides solid support for talented and aspiring coaches to be able to work with, or learn from, some of the best in the business.

A vacancy currently exists for a head coach role in our SBL program.  Wanneroo Basketball Association seeks applications from senior coaches who:

  • Demonstrate the ability and experience to coach at this elite level;
  • Have a solid track record of nurturing talented junior players;
  • Are enthusiastic about implementing a professional, disciplined approach to the game;
  • Are prepared to continue the implementation of the values of Wolfpack Basketball, with a particular emphasis on ensuring that the SBL program engages with our junior membership base; 
  • Show a strong desire to assist in the development of pathways for our juniors looking to transition into senior basketball; and
  • Displays strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Head Coach SBL;
  • Assistant Coach SBL;
  • Head Coaches WABL; 
  • Assistant Coaches WABL; and
  • Support Coaches for Development Programs.
