Week 17 of the SBL is rivalry round and the rivalries are set to get hotter as teams fight for play-off positions and placings.

In the Women's competition the Eagles cling on to their mathematical chances of making the eight with games against the Eastern Suns & Perth Redbacks. The Tigers have a crucial game if they wish to move to the top three with their cross-town rivals fighting for their place in the eight.
The Wolves are also fighting for a place in the finals and they do battle with cross-town rivals the Senators.
In the Men's competition country rivals Goldfields & Geraldton face off in Kalgoorlie which will be vital for second place on the ladder. The Tigers are fighting off the Redbacks & Suns to make the finals and they face a tough task against fierce rivals Cockburn.
The Redbacks dropped an important game against the Eastern Suns in overtime last weekend and must redeem themselves if they are to have a chance of making the finals with a win this weekend over East Perth.
There is action at every corner this weekend and the only place to be is at an SBL venue!
