Streaks on the line
Two amazing winning streaks go on the line this week as the 1st placed Lakeside Lightning ( 14 and 1 ) takes on 2nd placed Geraldton Buccaneers ( 14 and 2 ) in a top of the table clash at Lakeside Recreation Centre this Saturday 30th of May at 7.30 pm.
The Buccaneers have an eight game winning streak starting back at the 25th of April against the Southwest Slammers.
The Lightning streak dates back to the 1st week of April.
The last time the Lightning lost, and their only loss for the year was at the hands of the Buccaneers. In that game the Buccaneers hardly raised a sweat in their 115 to 80 rout.
This week’s game sees two completely different game styles, as one of the league’s biggest teams the Buccaneers take on the Lightning’s quick back court in what must be the game of the season so far.
