WSBL Player of the Week - Rnd 5
THE Week Five Women’s SBL Player of the Week has been awarded to Emilee Harmon of the Texture WA Perth Redbacks.
In a stellar performance that handed the Joondalup Wolves women their first defeat of the season, Emilee Harmon showed the league her full potential in the Redbacks’ 87-80 victory on Thursday night.
Harmon sat for just 3 minutes in the battle of the title contenders, stuffing the stat sheet with 36 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals and a block.
Harmon is shooting an impressive 19/22 from the free-throw line this season, while going 54% from the field.
After a slow start, the Redbacks seem to be hitting their straps as the win extends their streak to three ahead of their competition bye this week.
