WSBL Player of the Week - Rnd 3
THE week three Women’s SBL Player of the Week has been awarded to Kisha Lee of the Stirling Senators.
The offensive weapon Kisha Lee, put all of her tricks on the table on Saturday night at Warwick Stadium to record a massive 41 points game which included 12 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the Senators to an 86-76 win over the Cockburn Cougars.
During her scoring display, what was most impressive was Kisha’s ability to look after the ball, not recording a single turnover in over 33 minutes of court time.
Coming off a full season with the Perth Lynx in the WNBL, USA born Kisha Lee, now a Permanent Resident of Australia, has made an impressive start to the 2017 SBL Season and looks well suited to coach Clarke’s game style alongside teammates Amber Land and import Jasmine Martin.
The Stiring Senators will now face the South West Slammers on Sunday at Warwick Stadium with the tantalising match-up between Kisha Lee and Slammers import Brittany Hodges to look forward to.
