Grand Final Referee Appointments
Men's SBL Grand Final Referees: David Bull, Bret Campbell & Steve Diconza (Reserve: Craig Copes)
The triplet of Bull, Campbell & Diconza bring a wealth of experience to the game with all three officials possessing NBL experience and a combined 61 years of SBL refereeing between them.
Bull will lead the group in what will be his last game after announcing his retirement from officiating after 23 years of service to the SBL.
Women's SBL Grand Final Referees: Mark Grist & Paul Throns (Reserve: Adrian Diconza)
Mark Grist and Paul Throns will take to centre court for the Women's SBL Grand Final after both referees have put together solid seasons in the SBL.
Both referees are well experienced with Paul in his 21st year and Mark his 12th year of SBL.
Grist will lead the pair with his experience as a current WNBL official and a member of the NBL mentouring program.
Congratulations to the selected referees for this years Grand Finals and on behalf of the SBL, thank you to all our officials throughout the 2016 season!
