Congratulations Tom Remmerswaal - 250 SBL games

Tom Remmerswaal will tonight play his 250th SBL game in front of his home crowd at the Mike Barnett Sports Complex in Rockingham.

Remmerswaal's SBL career started in 2002 at just 17 years of age with the Mandurah Magic after dominating the WABL junior competition for a number of years.

Tom had a one year stint with the South West Slammers in 2005, before returning to the Magic one year later.

His best year statistically came in 2012 where he finished in third place in line for the league MVP only behind import Jeremiah Wilson and eventual winner Damian Matacz. In 2012 Remmerswaal averaged just under 23 points per game with 650 points and 250 rebounds from 28 games.

Unfortunately a back injury halted Tom's playing career in 2013 which held him to only 13 games in that season before returning in 2014 with cross-town rivals the Rockingham Flames.

Tom has thrived under Coach Utley's game plan and is putting up quality numbers for 2015.

On behalf of the State Basketball League we would like to congratulate Tom on his milestone and wish him all the best in tonights game.
