Rhys Vague selected to U/19 Australian Squad

East Perth Eagles youngster and Perth Wildcats development player Rhys Vague has been named in a 16-man Australian Emus squad in the lead up to the 2015 FIBA Under-19 World Championships in Greece.

The training camp will be held at the Centre of Excellence in Canberra later this month, with Vague the only WA representative. 

Vague is currently averaging 16.2 points and 8.4 rebounds per game in the SBL after coming off an impressive Under 20 Australian Junior Championships in February where he averaged 22.57 points at 42% and 7.43 rebounds per game. 

The FIBA Under-19 World Championships are set to take place in Heraklion, Greece in late June.
