The week thirteen “Kickz101 Perth” Women’s SBL Player of the Week has been awarded to Darcee Garbin of the Orange Autos Rockingham Flames.

The Rockingham Flames stretched their undefeated winning streak to sixteen games over the weekend thanks to a standout performance from Darcee Garbin.

The Flames and Senators matched up on Saturday night at Mike Barnett Sports Complex with Garbin proving to be the difference between the two sides recording 28 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists to lead Rockingham to a twelve point victory over Stirling 72 to 60.

Garbin, a current WNBL player with the Alcohol Think Again West Coast Waves is an up and coming superstar and last year represented Australia in the U19 world championships where she won a bronze medal.

Standing at 188cm and only just nearing her 20th birthday, Garbin is having an outstanding season currently averaging 14.9 points and 8.5 rebounds per game for the championship favourite Rockingham Flames.

As anticipated the game was a high scoring affair with Perth’s Lee Roberts and Stanley Okoye combining for 71 points while Mandurah’s stars Hafford, Mullenax, Maddalena and Smith combined for 94 points.

Roberts finished with a game high 36 points to go with 15 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks and a huge slam dunk to entertain the crowd.
