Congratulations Elizabeth Cooke on 350 SBL Games

SBL veteran Elizabeth Cooke of the East Perth Eagles will celebrate her 350 SBL game milestone this Saturday night at the Morley Sport & Recreation Centre.

In a career that has spread over twenty years and seventeen seasons in the SBL, Cooke has been a solid contributor both on and off the court.

Cooke's SBL career started in 1994 with the Willetton Tigers where she played in three grand finals, runner up in 1996 and 1998 and WSBL Champions in 1997, before moving to the Mustangs for one season in 1999.

In 2000 Cooke signed with the Stirling Senators and led the league in blocked shots for that particular season. Cooke spent eight seasons with the Senators which included a grand final appearance in 2007, before moving to the East Perth Eagles in 2010 and featured in the 2011 WSBL grand final.

Cooke, a former WNBL Perth Lynx player has been a consistent performer in the SBL throughout her career, nearing on 3000 career points and 2500 career rebounds.

The State Basketball League would like to congratulate Liz Cooke on her remarkable milestone of 350 SBL games.
