Import shines during disappointing weekend
The Geraldton Buccaneers made a frustrating start to their 2013 season with two opening round defeats at the hands of South West Slammers and Mandurah Magic.
The Slammers scored a 90-86 victory while Mandurah’s fast start set up a 98-91 triumph.
Despite the results, import Jamine Peterson starred with 36 points and 10 rebounds on Saturday night against the Slammers.
