Undefeated Lakeside Lightning have secured their ninth consecutive win of the season after a thrilling over-time clash against the Willetton Tigers.

The teams were tied with 90 points by the fourth quarter when the Lightning struck in over-time winning 104-97.

Lightning's star import Luke Payne (40 points and six assists) went head to head with Tiger's import Robert Kampman (court, 33 points and nine rebounds).

After last weeks loss the Wanneroo Wolves were determined to bounce back defeating the East Perth Eagles 110-91, Wolves powerhouse Damian Matacz (28 points, six rebounds) and import Jordan Wild (25 points, 18 rebounds) leading the way.

The Wolves dominated in shooting accuracy across the board, with Matacz shooting an impressive 89 percent from the free throw line.

The Perth Redbacks defeated the Geraldton Buccaneers 96-78 aided by Redbacks veteran forward Adrian Majstovich (32 points).

An inconsistent weekend for the Perry Lakes Hawks, taking on the bottom two teams the top-eight Hawks lost to the Rockingham Flames on Friday night then bounced back to defeat bottom team the Kalamunda Eastern Suns on Saturday.

It was the Flames second season victory defeating the Hawks 130-111, Rockingham relied heavily on offensive pressure from imports James Booyer (26 points) and Percell Coles (29 points, 16 assists).

The Hawks then defeated the Suns 96-94, Hawks import Matt Rosinski was the standout with 29 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

After defeating the Hawks on Friday night the Flames went down to the Stirling Senators 105-98 on Saturday.

The Suns also lost to the Senators 107-87 on Friday night, Stirling were led by import Adhar Mayen (24 points) and consistently impressive Michael Jones (24 points) in just another blow to the Suns four game losing streak.

The Goldfields Giants defeated the South West Slammers 80-75 on Saturday night despite an incredible performance from Slammers Carlos White with 37 points.

The Cockburn Cougars took down the Mandurah Magic 116-76, gaining momentum the Cougars went on to defeat Geraldton 107-91.

The Cougars put in a dominant display away from home putting an end to the Magic's four game winning streak.
