Hawks appoint new MSBL Head Coach for 2012

Perry Lakes Hawks announce the appointment of Trevor Pugh to the position of Head Coach for the Men's State Basketball League Team for 2012.

Trevor is a former AIS, NBL & State Player and also played five years with the Hawks MSBL team in the 80's.

He is currently the Coach of the WA State 20's Men's Team and has also coached WABL 20’s (Coach of the year 2010) and held other coaching positions at the Wanneroo Basketball Association.

With the Hawks having such a young squad, Trevor's experience with the coaching and development of young players in the past, will be invaluable to the Hawks program going forward.

"Our goal is to be recognized by our community and our peers as the Benchmark of Men's Basketball in WA" said Pugh.

"I look forward to working with this group and to the seaon ahead."

The 2012 SBL Fixtures have been released and can be found on our website or on the sbl website. Perry Lakes Hawks thank all their sponsors and supporters for their ongoing support.
