FIBA Selects Damian Lyons
The State Basketball League would like to acknowledge and congratulate Damian Lyons, who has been selected to referee at the FIBA Europe Youth Championships.
Damian has been a long serving SBL official and is a regular on both the WNBL and NBL scene over the last eight years.
The FIBA Europe Youth Championships are scheduled for the 14-24th of July 2011 in Spain.
Damian's selection for the Championships reflects the commitment he has exhibited in his chosen trade and the high regard FIBA officials have about his skills.
The SBL would like to wish Damian the best of luck for the tournement and we look forward to seeing his involvement in the SBL during 2011.
