‘Satisfaction’ at tense victory
The Wolves beat second-placed Rockingham 56-47 to take game 3 and the quarter-final series, and this weekend face Perry Lakes in game 1 of the semi-final series.
Honours are even between Perry Lakes and the Wolves during the regular season, and Perret said the key would lie in stopping them from running the ball and scoring uncontested points.
She said the Wolves would look to Ainsleigh Sanders and Alex Kerr to dominate physically.
“Perry Lakes aren’t a very deep team but they are very good at their transition,” she said.
