Athletes in Action to Tour WA
For The past fifteen years the Athletes in Action organization has been a significant contributor to basketball in Australia, throughout the 90’s they brought in over 20 touring teams to play the Opals, NBL teams, our own Perth Wildcats, Breakers and various SBL teams, also over the last 2 decades they have contributed over 25 imported players to our SBL and WSBL and the NBL.
In conjunction with Lakeside as a service to basketball in WA, AIA is bringing in eight players all with a primary aim of securing SBL contracts. An open invitation is made to anybody to come and watch these guys take on a Lakeside team, the State U/20’s and the Wildcats training squad.
SBL Coaches and Administrators are invited to enter into discussions with Coach John Farwell about any of the players during the tour. Games commence on the 3rd of December.

Depending on Wildcat commitments the AIA team may scrimmage with the Wildcats for 20 minutes inside their Team Training on Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th at Perry Lakes.
