CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

After monitoring all situations closely over the past days, the Barossa Basketball Exec Committee has decided that our current season will continue as per normal, but with the following precautions;
1) There will be 100% isopropyl alcohol placed at each score bench to wipe down the scoring tablets and clocks before and after each game. Scorers are also recommended to thoroughly wash their hands both before and after games, or to use their own hand sanitizer.
2) If any spectators don't really need to be at the game they are asked to consider staying home.
3) All teams and supporters are asked to consider arriving as late as possible and leaving as soon as possible after their game - to limit the number of people in The Rex at any one time.
We feel that with these precautions in place, and as long as it is felt safe for the local schools to stay open, then the BVABA local competition will continue as normal.
As always, the BVABA Committee will continue to monitor the situation and if circumstances force a change, then all clubs and players will be informed straight away.
See you courtside.

That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
