Former Maroochy Junior Amy Browne shining for the Arizona Matadors
The following link is a recent article about former Maroochydore Clippers Junior Amy Browne who is living her dream of playing college basketball in America. The second link is an interview she did prior to the conference finals. Unfortunately the Lady Mat's lost in the final held in Phoenix by 5 points narrowly missing a trip to Kansas for the NJCAA Sweet Sixteen... They finished the season with a win loss record of 30-2.
Just goes to show what you can achieve if you put your mind to it. Amy is one of many past Juniors from maroochy who are currently playing Basketball overseas. Well done Amy.
