Come and Try Day - Start of New Aussie Hoops program:
If you would like to learn Basketball our next come and try and Aussie Hoops day is Monday the 1st of August from 3.30pm at the Maroochy Clippers Basketball Stadium (Syd Lingard drive Buderim). This is open to all Primary School children. Full details for the program will be available on the day so come along and try the fun sport of Basketball. For the more experienced and Secondary School players a number of development opportunities exist at the Maroochy Clippers Club. As the longest serving club on the Sunshine Coast, we have a wealth of experienced coaches that have enabled Maroochy Clippers Juniors to consistently reach both State and National level.
The Junior Rep season will begin next month with the announcement of trial dates yet to be set, so keep checking the website for details. Coaching staff have been appointed for the various age groups and will be released on the website soon. Grading for Juniors is held in mid October. Again these dates will be made available as soon as Basketball Qld confirm the dates for each age level.
