You sure don't need to wait until September to see some of the best Aussie Rules. Have you seen these kick-to-kicks? These passionate players are battling hard to last 60 hours straight, but with no breaks, beds or home comforts this is going to push them to the limit. With two of the three having to keep in motion at all times - the third team member is using their downtime to chase support from friends and followers (that's you) online.
Your support is going to make all the difference - especially if all the teams last the distance, because if that happens, the team with the most 'likes' will be the ones jetting off to LA with $10,000. So what are you waiting for. If you're on the sidelines for these guys, punt in your vote and help them on their way!
Jared Marshall, Lachlan Hood and Kane Smith are representing the eastern suburbs of Melbourne as the only Australian Rules competitors in this competition.
If it wasn't for Aussie Rules, these three local boys would never have become friends. Since meeting each other on the footy field as young boys they now rarely play a game apart, or even attend a match at the MCG. Jared and Kane both currently play for the Whitehorse Pioneers, while Lachie still plays with Melbourne High Old Boys.
These adidas competitors live and dream about Aussie Rules. Both Lachie & Kane work as lifeguards at South Yarra Leisure Centre, while Jared has just finished University. Given their popularity within their own Aussie Rules teams, expect a big show of support from their friends on the sidelines.
