The Moorabbin Saints Junior Football League is pleased to announce the appointment of its inaugural General Manager, David Cannizzo.
Executive Chairman Craig Braddy in announcing the appointment said, “David has had extensive experience in the management of junior and senior football in the southern region in his previous employment with the Southern Football League as General Manager – Operations and with the MSJFL as the sole Administrator for the past two football seasons.”
“David has presented himself in a professional manner and has the experience, dedication and desire to allow him to build the brand of the MSJFL and ensure that the MSJFL as a vibrant, independent football organisation and to become the preeminent junior football competition in metropolitan Melbourne.” Braddy said.
The MSJFL and its (interim) board are currently working through the establishment of a new governance model and as part of this process announces the establishment of it first full-time professional administration.
Adam Sparrow has been appointed to the position of full-time Administration Officer to support David in his new role.
Adam who has completed a sports management degree has most recently being acting in the role to which he has been appointed.
Braddy is excited about the new administration structure, “with David and Adam in place, the MSJFL has a young and energetic team that will take the organisation to a new level”.
