Rocky Rep results
Rockhampton Basketball has just finished it Central Districts Carnival for Junior Basketball with some great results against Bundaberg and Gladstone teams. Both the boys and girls performed well in all age groups with Rockhampton winning the title of CDC champs for U12 boys and girls, U14 boys and girls, U16 boys and girls and U18 girls. The U18 boys were inconsistent but did show some good form in some games. This show of Rockhamptons Strength in this carnival has been a great result for all the hard work that the coaches and children have been putting in over the last 8 months.
Being the CDC champs these teams are now eligable to nominate in Division 1 at the state classics held around Easter, with most teams taking up this wonderful challenge to put themselves against the best kids in the State in their age group.
A special thanks must go to all the parents, children and coaches that put a lot of time and effort into the rep program and it shows how hard work pays off.
