Changes to Ipswich Basketball Season Structure and Registrations

Ipswich Basketball are introducing new changes to the basketball season structure in 2018, while also adopting a new 365 day registration.

Your 365 Day Basketball Queensland Membership will be valid from your date of registration until the same date the following year. There will also be the added benefit of only requiring one BQ registrations regardless of how many associations you may join to play in their club basketball competitions.

The competition dates for the 2018/2019 seasons are as follows:

JUNIORS (Monday / Wednesday / Thursday / Saturday / Sunday)

• 29 Jan 2018 to March 2018 - Pre-Championship Transition Season (Ages U9-U19)
• 23 Apr 2018 to 17 Sep 2018 - Championship (Winter) Season (Ages U9-U19)
• 8 Oct 2018 to March 2019 - Summer Season (Ages U8-U20)

NOTE: Speak to your club delegate should you have questions regarding the schedule changes

SENIORS (Tuesday / Sunday)

• 30 Jan 2018 to 18 Sep 2018 - Grading and Championship Season
• 9 Oct 2018 to March 2019 - Summer Season

Competition Days

• Monday - U11 to Open Girls/Premier League Women
• Tuesday - Men's Division 1, 2, 3 & 4 / Mixed Social Division 1 & 2
• Wednesday - U17 to U19 Boys
• Thursday - U11 to U15 Boys
• Saturday - U9 Mixed Juniors
• Sunday - Mixed Social Division 1 & 2 and/or Junior/Senior 3-on-3 Competition
