Future of Sport Conference
Ipswich Sports House is hosting The Future of Sport Conference.
The Conference provides an opportunity for representatives of sport and recreation organisations to interact with a range of speakers and hear them discuss key issues impacting their organisations now and into the future.
The conference will have something for everyone, with two concurrent streams:
- Sports Administration
- Coach and Athlete Development
The objectives of The Future of Sport Conference are to:
1. Encourage local organisations to sit up and take notice of industry trends in community sport and recreation;
2. Start to position their organisations to be able to meet the needs/wants of the community;
3. Adopt and embed business principles within community organisations to ensure sustainability;
4. Ensure our Coaches, Trainers, and Officials are aware of some practices being used to improve performance of high performance athletes and determine how these could apply at the community level.
