METEORETTES SIGN LOYD FOR 2018 SEASON
The Global Product Search Meteorettes are proud to announce that they have signed Mia Loyd for the 2018 QBL season. Mia will fill one of the restricted/import positions for the Meteorettes and the club is extremely happy to have secured her.
Loyd who completed college at North Dakota in 2016 was Named the Big Sky Conference Pre Season player of the year and was named to the First Team All Big Sky Conference for 2 straight years. Loyd had a stellar college career and has been playing in Europe since finishing college and will join the Meteorettes in April.
Head Coach Ian Haughton said, “ We were really interested in Mia the moment we saw some film and we are looking forward to Mia arriving in Mackay. She has a great work ethic and plays with great energy, and believe she will be a great fit with the group that we have assembled.”
Loyd can’t wait to get to Mackay and is really looking forward to competing in the QBL. “ I was very excited when given the opportunity to come and play for Mackay and I am really looking forward to doing what I can to help the team succeed in 2018.” Loyd said.
