HAUGHTON AND COROWA WIN UNDER 16 NATIONAL TITLE GOLD
Mackay Coach Ian Haughton and Under 16 local player Ezekial Corowa have won gold at the Under 16 National Titles in Western Australia over the weekend. In a huge weekend for Mackay Basketball products Haughton coached the Qld North team to victory against the Qld South team in the grand final on Saturday evening. The boys won the final by 88-63 making the 2nd time in 3 years that the Qld North boys have won the Under 16 National Title. Ezekial Corowa grabbed 3 steals and contributed 2 points in the final and was a great contributor to the group over the week long tournament.
Congratulations to both Ian Haughton and Ezekial Corowa, you have done Mackay Basketball proud and we are extremely proud of both of you.
