What is the Academy?
The Magic Academy is an SBL program that will be replacing the SBL Development Squads in 2013. Both men’s and women’s SBL teams will select between 5 and 10 players to join the SBL teams on a part time basis.
- Selected players must be playing WABL for the Magic
- They will complete all of the SBL pre season training sessions at the discretion of the Head Coach
- They will train at least once per week with the SBL team at the discretion of the Head Coach
- Must attend the SBL mentoring program
- Must sit behind the bench during Magic SBL home games
- Selected players will receive the following:
- SBL training uniform
- One season pass to the SBL
