U18 Townsville Heat Take Gold At State Champs
Congratulations to the U18 Townsville Heat who took out the Gold medal game at the U18 state championships in Logan on Friday afternoon.
The Townsville Heat won the final comfortable beating Southern Districts Spartans 84 - 50 in the decider.
Also in other results the U18 boys lightning finished with a bronze medal in div 3 after defeating Southern Districts 77 - 57.
In the ladies the U18 Flames came 7th in div 1 and the lightning girls finished in 5th in div 2.
Congratulations to all coach, managers & players on a great week of representing Townsville Basketball.
In other news it congratulations to the following players who has been selected to represent Queensland North to compete at the U18 National titles in April at Ballarat.
