Ignatius Park College wins Gold
Townsville's Ignatius Park College U15 team has taken out the Champion School of Qld division 3 Gold Medal over the weekend. The Brent Millar coached team went through the tournament undefeated (8-0), beating Emmanual College 53 to 37 in the Gold Medal match.
Whirlwinds' Ethan Betts and Charlton Offermans led scoring in the final with 18 and 11 respectively.
Ignatius Park U17 team finished 5th in division 2, beating Toowoomba Grammar College by 1, 48-47 in the 5/6 playoff. They finished the tournament 5-2. They were coached by Paul Foster.
