Townsville Basketball Hot Summer League is open to the following teams

7 WEEK SEASON

11th & 12th October - 29th & 30th November, 2013

A point system has been devised to allow equality throughout the teams. All nominated players will be ranked as per their experience/ level of skill. Schools or teams wishing to link with clubs may need to discuss uniform options. TBI Junior Competition rules will be adhered to for the purpose of safe play. Uniforms—numbered 4-13 on back. No pockets in shorts.

Non-Registered players (new to basketball) 1 point

TBI Registered current Division 2 or 3 players 2 points

Current Division 1 players 3 points

TBI Representative players Division 2 4 points

TBI Representative players Division 1 5 points

Queensland Representative Players 6 points

Maximum points per team is 25 points Players on 4,5 & 6 points—maximum of 3 players per team)

 

Grading of teams will be determined by the team points into divisions.

Player Registration:

TBI 2013 registered players free. All new players registration fee $ 25

Basketball Queensland provide insurance under the Players Registration Fee

Points awarded for game results are as follows;

Win 3 points

Draw 2 points

Loss 1 point

All teams will play on final Day according to points obtained through the season, which will deter-mine the finals game to be played
