The role encompasses the provision of advice and support in relation to governance, volunteer management, participation initiatives, information technology training, partnerships with organisations to encourage greater participation and sourcing sponsorship, fund raising and corporate partnership.

Essential
Working with children check
High level of written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated skills in customer service and the ability to work with a broad range of people
Computer-literate
Current drivers license
Desirable
Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Marketing, Business, Sports Management or similar)
Demonstrated skills in governance of sporting associations
Demonstrated knowledge of compliance requirements for sporting associations
Demonstrated skills in marketing and sponsorship
An understanding of the structure of basketball in Queensland
