Townsville McDonald's  Heat 74 def by Gladstone Power 77
The men’s game saw a much closer contest, with Gladstone holding the lead by just a couple of points throughout much of the match. Townsville brought the deficit back to be one point behind with just over a minute left in the match, thanks to a three-pointer from Mitch Norton, before Todd Blanchfield put the home-side in front by one point with just 30 seconds left on the clock. The Heat held the game in their hands until two fouls sent Gladstone’s Zac Silverman to the line twice, where he sunk all four of his free throws, to steal the match back for the Power by three points.
