NEW HSA General Manager Appointed

Highlands Soccer Association has announced the appointment of a General Manager, Lisa Evans.

This new role has been created to assist in the further development and enhancement of football for the Highlands football community.

"Lisa brings to Highlands Soccer Association a wealth of experience and knowledge in marketing and event management, as well as experience in administration which will bring effective delivery of our organisations objectives and goals to our multiple stakeholders", said Highlands Soccer Association Chairman Leon SMith.

The key objective of the role of the General Manager is to support all stakeholders in making the game of football accessible and enjoyable. The appointment of a General Manager will relieve HSA Board of Directors and volunteers across the Association and Member Clubs of some administrative and operational management demands. The tasks ahead for Lisa are to assist the Board in the development of a strategic plan, to implement improved communication methods to inform stakeholders, members and the community of relevant information, develop strong relationships with the key HSA stakeholders, including sponsors and football partners, and to elevate the profile of football in the region.

"I look forward to working with the Highlands Soccer Association and its member clubs, many playing members and school participants, as well as Highlands Football Club, summer football, representative teams, Glasgow Rangers, the various football development programs and various events to ensure administrative and operational support is available to best suit their needs," stated Lisa.

We warmly welcome Lisa to the Association and look forward to working with her as we take in the many exciting challenges ahead," said Mr Smith.

Lisa started her role on 2 August, 2011.
