Through out 2009 the NZAFL will be implementing an after school progamme for
primary school students called 'Kiwikick' targeting children between the
ages of 5 to 12 years of age and focusing on motor skills.
The programme runs for an eight week periods through out the year from
3.30pm to 5.00pm and takes place on the same day each week.
We will require the assistance of casual staff for the positions of Centre
Co-Ordinators and Coaching Co-Ordinators. The positions will involve a
minimum of two hours per week for the 8 week course.
The opportunity is available for staff to attend more than one centre per
week if preferred and can lead to Area and Regional Co-ordinator positions.

On Friday March 13th and Monday 16th the NZAFL in conjunction with the AFL
are in the process of rolling out the "Kiwi Kick After School Programme."
We will be conducting training with the assistance of AFL staff at the
Cotswold Primary school from 8.45am onwards on both days focusing on the
following areas;

This will take on the format of the course being delivered directly to
primary school students in groups of between 25 to 50 children for 40 minute
to 60 minute sessions.
On Friday night at 6.30pm at Westminster Park, we will be conducting an
Orientation Seminar with those interested welcome to attend
These scheduled sessions and seminars can provide Canterbury Sport and the
Active Schools Programme with insights into the opportunities that exists to
be involved with a successful 'Motor Skills' programme that currently
operates with over 170,000 children enrolled in Australia.
