With the competition being split in two, the league hoped to see some more even matches within the various pools in the first week of split play.
On the final scheduled round of the whole competition there was some matches played.
Why it pays to have a big list - discuss?
In the last round of matches before the National Womens Championships, we had an upset or two.
As we approach the halfway mark of the first half of the season, personally it looks apparent between the haves and the have-nots. So far Sydney Uni, Newtown and Balmain look certainities for Pool A whilst Bondi, Auburn and Wollongong look certainities for Pool B.
As we nearly approach the half-way mark in the regular season, I haven't been too far off my predictions. A bit too generous towards Auburn in this competition and a bit too gloomy on the Southern Power and Macquarie University but i think my other guesses have been spot on.
And then there was only one team left undefeated after Round 3
Southern Power, Easts, Balmain remain undefeated by Round 2.
After lots and lots and lots of rain, it was time for the footy to start to kick off the 2011 NAB SWAFL Season.
