With a new deadline of 8pm, Sunday for home team managers to submit match details through Footyweb, you should be able to log in by Monday morning with all the game results, scorers. Match analysis reports will be in this section too.

Well all the hard work is done. For 5 teams, it's time to enjoy the early Spring sun, have a few bevvies and reflect on the season that has past. For four more teams, finals action awaits.

SWAFL Round 17 Results and Round 18 Preview
Round 17 saw four games before the more important trophy was up for grabs: 2010 NAB SWAFL Trivia Champions. The winning team was: Sydney University and SWAFL Vision winners - Newtown Breakaways with their Rocky Horror Picture Show Dance Sequence. Best Dressed team was Mac Uni - Hooray!
Oh positions 1 and 4 have been finalised. Spots 2/3 are almost finalised but depend on Round 18 Results.

SWAFL Round 15 Results and Round 16 Preview
Balmain is officially confirmed as the 2010 minor league premiers. They now secure the double chance in the finals. Well done on setting some new records over the weekend for the most goals kicked by one player, aggregate total team score and biggest margin.

SWAFL Round 9 Results and Round 10 Preview
Rain, Rain Go Away!" might have been the chant of not just primary school children in NSW were saying this week but Aussie Rules Footballers as well fearful that their game would be cancelled. Luckily SWAFL is blessed with access to one of the best all-weather football grounds in Sydney. SWAFL has next weekend off due to the long break, everyone enjoy your lie-in!

SWAFL Round 8 Results and Round 9 Review
I can't believe it's the halfway mark. Next week represents the half way mark of the season and with the June Long weekend coming up gives players either a chance to rest their bodies and livers. No doubt some may be found in the snow, others play in Canberra in the tri-series, whilst others fly down to Melbourne for the All-Australian Womens AFL Game at the MCG.

SWAFL Round 7 Results and Round 8 Preview
This round represents the second third of the draw as the teams now play the other teams in the league. The race for the finals continues unabated with four games at three venues, the previous weekend.

It was Pink Sock Round in SWAFL this weekend with the NAB Bank doing a great job running the canteen at Mahoney this round. Winner of the NAB ICoffee Machine was VIRGINIA FRANCIS.

SWAFL Round 5 Results and Round 6 Preview
With the season almost a third over, some trends can be determined as the League moves towards Pink Sock Day to be held on Round 6. Pink Sock Day is the League's official cancer charity of which clubs and umpires will distribute proceeds of sock sales to the club's own charity nominated. The idea was proposed by Lynda Rowan (Balmain) and was eagerly adopted unanimously at a recent league meeting.

Greetings fellow readers, by the time you read this article I'll be flying to the United States for nine days so I won't be able to give you any match description of Round 4 matches.
ANZAC Weekend saw SWAFL move the whole round of matches to Wollongong to promote Women's football in the home of the Youth Girls League. In response there were many interested spectators at North Dalton Park.

A glorious summer's day in April greeted all 9 teams at Marrickville for the opening round of the 2010 Premiership. Ros McMahon-Bostick, SWAFL president was pleased to see so many spectators and players at Mahoney to support all teams and hopes this trend continues throughout the season. We also thank Balmain Dockers for their excellent canteen work done over the weekend.
