COMETS & SPIDERS TO MEET IN UNDER 12'S RALPH'S CAFE FINAL
The City of Sydney Comets and the Hornsby Spiders are set to battle it out in the grand final of the inaugural U12’s Ralph's Café Tournament final this Saturday afternoon at Brydens Stadium.
The matchup was confirmed after the City of Sydney defeated Hills 50-19 and Hornsby won 28-11 against Newcastle.
The Comets 31 point win over the Hornets came on the back of four of their players scoring eight or more points (Alan Goodchild 12, Sidney Mahinya 10, Jade Jarrett 10, Jil Schaft 8). For Hills, Gabrielle Binay scored 10 points.
In the second semi-final at Brydens Stadium on Friday afternoon, the Spiders 17 point win was set-up by Genevieve Audette (8 points), Carla Pitman (6) and Maddie Davey (6). Chloe Blake top scored for Newcastle, scoring 4 points.
U12's RALPH'S CAFE TOURNAMENT GRAND FINAL - WHEN & WHERE
The U12’s Ralph's Café Tournament grand final will take place this Saturday, 15th February at 3.15pm at Brydens Stadium.
The game will act as a pre-cursor to the Brydens Sydney Uni Flames Indigenous Excellence Game against the West Coast Waves. Tip-off for the WNBL clash is at 5pm on Saturday.
