Sydney Girls High School – No known close contacts played here

Sydney Girls High School – No known close contacts played here:

You may be aware that Sydney Girls High School had a confirmed Covid-19 confirmed yesterday.  We have been in contact with the school and they have indicated to us that none of the people who have been identified as close contacts play basketball at CSBA.

These situations can change quickly and we will continue to communicate with the school and will let everyone know if things change.

AS THIS UPCOMING FRIDAY IS SEMI FINALS, THE FIXTURE WILL BE DELAYED – UNTIL WE HAVE MORE INFORMATION. FOR THOSE NON-SGHS TEAMS THAT HAVE MADE THE SEMI FINALS YOU’LL GET YOUR ELIGIBILITIES SENT TO YOU BEFORE THE FIXTURE (WEIRD I KNOW.)

We would remind everyone to continually monitor for the following symptoms:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Sore or scratchy throat
  • Shortness of breath
  • Loss taste and/or smell

If you experience any of these symptoms please immediately self-isolate and get tested.  Here is a link to testing venues:  https://bit.ly/314sVKd

If you are in any doubt of your status please do not participate in any CSBA activities until you are free of symptoms and cleared of Covid-19.  Please err on the side of caution.

Hotspots:  There are a number of ‘hotspots’ throughout NSW that the government has identified as high risk.  If you have visited any of these hotspots you may be required to monitor yourself for symptoms.  Please familiarise yourself with this information as it changes on a daily basis. Please ensure you read this before participating in any CSBA activity:  https://bit.ly/31KYurs

CSBA follows state and national government guidelines, see links below for further information.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
