Hawks fans will have the opportunity to meet the team this Thursday December 13 from 3pm at an open training session at Maroochydore Multi-Sports Complex.
Players will undertake skills training for around two and a half hours, with fans invited to mingle with the players for autographs and photos when the session ends.
The club advises that while all players are encouraged to stay and sign autographs for as long as possible, sometimes they will endeavour to sign a few and then leave the track for treatment, or to begin recovery.
This is the second year running Hawthorn has hit the Sunshine Coast for their annual pre-season training camp.
Last year the Hawks enjoyed a week long stay on the Sunshine Coast using the Fishermans Road facilities, local beaches and gyms.
The Hawks also got out and amongst the Sunshine Coast attractions during their camp last year at the Big Kart Track, Coolum Golf Course and some fishing from Mooloolaba Wharf Charters.
Climate, facilities and the relaxed atmosphere are the drawcard with players likely to be put through their paces with intense sessions at ovals and gyms, complemented with circuits and beach recovery.
