Training Time Dates & Breaks between seasons and announcements of teams for Summer 2011

Please see training times below – We are planning on the initial break for those not in finals.  This will give your JDO Basketball Sub Committee a chance to get everything organised in preparation for the new season.  We had our third meeting last night and will be advising shortly of changes in structure.  Each JDO on committee has been allocated an age group to oversee and when this is totally finalised we shall let you all know which JDO’s are looking after your age division..

The couple of weeks off training will give all players, parents and Managers a well earned break to recharge batteries.

Over the break the JDO Committee will be –( see below)

·        Advising coaches of appointments

·        Organising squads on website by 5th September

·        Interviewing  coaches appointed

·        Commence setting up of new Club program for boys and girls divisions.

·        Manager communiqués to be finalised

·        Skills Clinics to be organised and advised.

·        Set up training venues and times  for new teams.

So enjoy your break – and we will be in touch

NO Training from Sunday 29th August  and NO mid week training times

NO Training on Sunday 5th September and NO mid week training times

NO training on Sunday 12th September

UNLESS TEAMS IN FINALS then they will continue training till out of finals contention at their normal training time and venue.

We will return to training for 2 weeks  on

Monday 13th September for mid week training

Sunday 19th September  and mid week training times

We will cease training on Sunday 26th September with the Sunday being the last training session.

BREAK

Return to Training on Sunday 3rd October AND mid week from there on.

New season due to commence from Monday 11th October 2010 Seniors and Juniors.
