13 June: Liam Flynn conducting clinics at the Lions
In a coup for the club we have secured the services of current NBL Assistant Coach to run 3 hrs of coaching sessions for our coaches this Sunday June 17 from 10 AM at STARplex. All of our district coaches and coaches from partner organisations, schools and associations are invited to attend.
Teams that normally train in the 10 AM to 1 PM timeslots will not be training but players currently doing small group work with Kyle Miller and Daniel Carlin will do their sessions as per normal.
Liam Flynn
Liam was born on the 10th of May 1979 in Brisbane.
He grew up in Queensland and then moved to Adelaide to follow career options and begin his coaching career.
In Adelaide Liam held a number of roles including:
Development Officer for the Basketball Association of South Australia, and
Sales Executive for the Port Adelaide Football Club.
Coaching roles have included:
Sturt Basketball Club junior boys and Australian Basketball League senior men
National Junior Championships (under 16 boys)
Adelaide 36ers Assistant Coach
Townsville Crocodiles Assistant Coach
