19 August: Halls Woolacott Medal night - well done Amber
The magary medal, the brownlow medal, well the Central ABL had its night of nights on Sunday night, the Halls Wollacott Dinner. The night was held at the Adelaide Oval Function Centre and the Lion's Women's import Amber Land featured heavily in the count. Amber made the All - Star Five and lead the league in rebounds.
Amber has been an outstanding addition to our Women's program contributing some phenomenal performances on the floor but also been an outstanding person off the floor working with junior players, been involved in team social activities and been an extremely coachable player. Her recognition is well deserved and we wish her luck as she pursues her basketball career in Australia and abroad and we would love to her back down the track.
