BSA DIV 4 MEN MVP - SIMON BOWIE
The club would like to take this opportunity to honour one of our senior players Simon Bowie.
Bowie has been a credit to this club and we have been privileged with his great skills on and off court as a player & one of our junior coaches. He currently coaches 2 junior teams and he definitely inspires junior players to become better. He is a great club man always showing support to other teams and has been a current member on the committee.
He was member of our division 4 men’s team this season & they finished 2nd in their pool only to lose by 2pts in the Semi-Finals.
As a player he is definitely not known to be a show pony but he does love to shoot three pointers (10 actually in game a few weeks ago). His teams mates are often telling him off when he won’t shoot the ball. This season Bowie has played all 24 games and shot 436 points to average 18.7 points a game. His highest points for a game this season was 32pts the game which he shot the 10 3’s.
So its is an honour to announced and it’s very much desired that Simon Bowie received this Most Valuable player award for the entire Division 4 men grade.
